Request for Kind Intervention and Early Settlement of Long-Pending Executive Issues Meeting with GM (HR) – Discussion on Staff Issues The meeting with GM (HR) was held in a cordial atmosphere and concluded on a positive note. The following issues were discussed: 1. First Long-Stay Transfer – 2023 GM (HR) clarified that OTP requests are being considered for all employees who complete three years of service as on 31.03.2026. We specifically requested consideration of Com. Ramasundaram's OTP request, and GM (HR) responded positively. 2. EPF Higher Pension – Rejected Cases GM (HR) assured that the matter would be discussed with the Finance Wing. He also agreed to nominate a team headed by a CAO to examine and resolve the issue. 3. Promotion of Shri S. Subramanian as AO (Regular) We requested that a D.O. letter be sent to the Corporate Office recommending the conduct of a special DPC. GM (HR) advised us to pursue the matter through our CHQ. The issue has already been communicated to our General Secretary. 4. JAO Regularisation – Implementation of CAT Chennai Judgment GM (HR) took a positive view regarding the regularisation of Shri Sathish, JAO. He expressed surprise that an appeal had been filed by our Circle Office, as he was not aware of it earlier. He assured us that efforts would be made to resolve the issue at the earliest. 5. LIC Superannuation Benefit (SAB) Reconciliation GM (HR) assured that the matter would be taken up in consultation with the Finance Wing. He also agreed to write to Sr. GM (Finance) for necessary action. 6. Confirmation Order of Mrs. Kumarimala, JAO GM (HR) assured that a D.O. letter would be sent to GM (HR), Assam Circle, requesting early resolution of the issue. We are also pursuing the matter through our CHQ and General Secretary. We are hopeful of an early settlement. 7. Review of AO (Look-After) Arrangements GM (HR) assured that the matter would be examined in consultation with Sr. GM (Finance) and resolved at the earliest. 8. Utilisation of Inspection Quarters and Staff Quarters GM (HR) informed us that instructions have already been issued to all Branches/Administrative Units to carry out basic renovation works wherever required. He further stated that four Inspection Quarters at Greams Road Office have been approved and the proposal has already been forwarded to the Civil Wing. 9. Settlement of Indoor Medical Claims GM (HR) stated that no indoor medical claim bills are currently pending at his level. However, he assured that any pending claims brought to his notice would be cleared promptly. Members having long-pending indoor medical claims are requested to communicate the details. Other Issues Discussed 1. OTP Request of Com. Shanmugasundaram The request for transfer from Madurai to Tiruchirappalli (TRY) under OTP was discussed. GM (HR) responded positively. 2. Transfer Request of Com. Binu, DGM The request for transfer from Kakinada (KKD) to Nagercoil (NGC) was discussed. GM (HR) informed that the request would be considered after the posting of an incoming AGM/DGM and assured priority consideration. 3. Transfer Request of Com. Beula Rani The request for transfer from Tirunelveli (TVL) to Nagercoil (NGS) was also discussed. GM (HR) assured that the matter would be examined favorably. Conclusion The meeting with GM (HR) proceeded smoothly, with constructive discussions on all agenda items. GM (HR) responded positively to the issues raised and assured necessary follow-up action on several pending matters. The meeting concluded on an encouraging and positive note. Today, the newly elected office bearers of the AIBSNLEA Tamil Nadu Circle Office Branch were formally introduced to the Senior General Manager (Finance). The office bearers interacted with the Sr. GM (Finance) and briefed her on the activities and objectives of the association. The meeting was cordial and constructive, focusing on strengthening coordination and cooperation between the Association and the Finance Wing for the smooth functioning of the Circle.
